I was almost tempted to include the Casper coloring book above as part of the Halloween countdown... but decided against it! This will probably be the only Casper image I'll post here -- at least for a good long time, anyway! I mainly saved the pic because the cover's format matches the old Harvey Comics covers.

Speaking of coloring books... check these out! This was a single lot of items that one eBay seller put up for sale! There's a few there I wouldn't mind having, you know!

OK, let me say up front here that I wasn't sure about posting the above picture at all, because I'm not entirely certain if the seller had the proper rights to produce them! These are magnets, featuring cover art from the 1960s Aurora comic book model kits. There's others this same seller is selling, as well. It's a very neat idea, but is it legal for someone to produce something like that and sell it? Even if the Aurora company isn't around to protect their copyright on the images themselves, DC still has the ownership of Superman and the other characters shown here...

This gadget here has got to be some kind of bootleg item... note the presence not only of Superman and Batman, but also of Spider-Man! This TV toy has to have been made in Mexico, I'm guessing. Still looks pretty neat, though, doesn't it?

And the last image in this post is of this interesting Super Friends item... and you'll notice that Aquaman's been bumped from this piece entirely! Pretty much any time there's a Super Friends merchandise with only four characters on it, it's going to be Superman, Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman. So the disrespect for Arthur Curry goes way back, eh?
