How do you summarize Treasure Island in 7 comic panels?

Admittedly, this is probably the worst scan I've done so far... I'll have to remember to re-do the scan sometime and upload a replacement set!

Let's see if I did better with Popeye...











Nope, that one really needs to be redone, too... I guess I didn't realize just how bad my old scanner was working until seeing these compared with what I'm working on with the newer scanner!

You'll note with the Popeye strip that Kenner's writers had a hard time keeping Popeye's personality with the dialogue... for example, the first panel should've really read, "Me rope seems a litle loosek tonight!" But that seems pretty common with the Popeye slides I've scanned so far.

Next week: The bad scans will continue (unless I decide to redo them this week) with Woody Woodpecker and the Three Stooges! We'll have two more weeks of the 1961 blue slides after that, and then we'll be on to the 1961 green slides, and that'll all be Hanna-Barbera characters (and most of those way off-model, so gird your loins!).
