I think I used to have some of these, although I thought they were cake toppers, not pencil toppers like the seller said they were...



Love the Superman and Batman placemats here... could care less about the Batman Returns one, though!




Here's more of Remco's Sgt. Rock toys... don't try looking for Bulldozer or Ice Cream Soldier or any of the other Easy Company characters, because you won't find 'em!

Famous Monsters #147, Part 8!

The next article in Famous Monsters of Filmland #147 purports to tell you how you could communicate with an alien!



The article is written pretty straightforward... despite what you might guess from the stills accompanying it! Reading this article, you can tell a lot of thought went into it, and a lot of research!



With all the difficulties the author comes up wit, I think we should hope that first contact with aliens comes with a linguisticlly-gifted race who's already learned some human languages!



Several noted professors were mentioned, as well as their theories.



Like I said, it's a pretty serious article -- kind of surprising to find it here!
