Didn't know he played Jim's father on Taxi, though!Jon Khttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03346075090240271003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10764388.post-74994130634359407332008-11-26T09:18:00.000-08:002008-11-26T09:18:00.000-08:00mmm.. basicly, Laird Cregar was an up and coming one that while hade done a number of films, was still on the up when he died and Victor Buono was someone doing simlar roles, maybe even a couple that they at first wanted Laird Cregar for.. i wouldn't have agreed fully with that.. but i remember Victor Buono from only a hand full of small roles as Jim's Father in an episode of Taxi, a few episodes of Man from Atlantis (i was never a big fan though), King Tut in Batman (60s Live action) and of course, a much smaller role as one of the Mutants in Beneath the Planet of the Apes. None of them roles seam to fit what little i know about Laird Cregar (oh, and they missed his first two roles in 'Oh Johnny, How you can love?' and 'Granny Get your gun'.. neither major roles at all.. but roles none the lessManic Manhttp://www.tesp.co.uknoreply@blogger.com
